How to Get from Guadalajara Direct.
  • Direct: Take the Vallarta Plus terminal Zapopan bus, there is one that arrives every day to Sayulita but there is only one a day and it leaves very early, 8:30 am, leaving the central Zapopan, arriving at 3:00 pm to Sayulita if you leave Tlaquepaque it is half an hour before.

  • Here is the link of the bus company that I recommend: https://www.vallartaplus.com/ is the best recommendation I can make, there are also other companies, but we consider from our own experience that it is the best and safest option.

No Direct:
  • There is also one to Bucerias that leaves every hour (it is the same in Puerto Vallarta) (do not take the option that they are going to offer you to La Peñita, it is more complicated to get there), when you get off in Bucerias just cross the avenue and walk one block to turn right on the same avenue and take the Compostela truck (as if you were coming back), it should say “Sayulita” on the front, the trucks are white with dark green, a few have red.
